Betty Sue Milgrim

DANTE, VIRGINIA – Betty Sue Milgrim, 73, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee surrounded by her family. She was born in Tazewell, Virginia; daughter of the late John B. and Nellie Parsons Counts. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Winters; great-granddaughter, Rayleigh Abigail Carty; two brothers, Dale Counts and Bobby Counts; two sisters, Bernice Matney and Portia Irene Wright; and one half-brother, Mancil Sutherland. She was a member of the Clinchco Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Rev. Darrell Kenneth Milgrim; two daughters, Melissa Winters and special friend, Ronnie Barnette of McClure, Virginia and Ruth Ann Dearry and husband, Joe of Coeburn, Virginia; two sons, Chris Milgrim and wife, Terri of Castlewood, Virginia and Bradley Milgrim and wife, Michelle of St. Paul, Virginia; three sisters, Bonnie Kaney of Bristol, Tennessee, Diana Fahrbach and husband, Carl of Burkeville, Virginia, and Wilma Sirmons and husband, Rusty of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; one brother Ray Counts and wife, Kathy of Richlands, Virginia; special friends of the family, Barney and Mildred Rose; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Betty Sue Milgrim will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Danny Meade and Rev. Wayne Keith officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Matthew Bellamy, Joshua Dearry, Ryan Milgrim, Hunter Dearry, Ronnie Barnette, Joseph Dearry, Mike Stidham, and Chris Rose. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Marshall, Gleason Austin, Thomas Deel, Barney Rose, and Brian Stevens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a night service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia.
