ST. PAUL, VIRGINIA - Claudette A. Cain, 74, died Saturday, August 22, 2020, at her home. She was born in Dante, Virginia; daughter of the late Dewey Sr. and Elizabeth Fain Cain. She was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Cain. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. She is survived by one son, Antony Cain of Dante, Virginia; one sister, Lois Penny Walker and husband, Eddie of Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers, Terry Cain and wife Teresa of Dante, Virginia, Marvin Cain and wife, Pam of St. Paul, Virginia, and Dewey Cain, Jr. and wife, Jackie of Indianapolis, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for Claudette A. Cain will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Woody Scott, Rev. Travis Lambert, and Rev. Lester Lattany officiating. Entombment will follow in Valley View Mausoleum at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home in Castlewood, Virginia following the same restrictions.
