SHALLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - Linda J. Kittrell, 73, died Monday, June 29, 2020, at Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, North Carolina. She was born in Wise, Virginia; daughter of the late Ulysses and Edna Counts Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jarvis Kittrell; two brothers, Bobby Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton. She is survived by her special companion, David Lyles, one daughter, Michelle Johnson and husband, Jeff of Tennessee; one son, Michael Kittrell of Michigan; three sisters, Peggy Austin of St. Paul, Virginia, Sandra Puckett of Mineral, Virginia, Patty Carpenter of Duke, Virginia; one brother, Buddy Hamilton of St. Paul, Virginia; five grandchildren, Vanessa, Andrea, Dennis, Scarlett, and Samson; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, a Graveside Service and Interment for Linda J. Kittrell will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 3, 2020, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Doug Trent officiating. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 12:30 p.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be Dennis Voakes, Joe Gamache, Adam Vanover, Steve Austin, Terry Austin, and David Austin.
