DANTE, VIRGINIA - Margaret Lee Palmer, 83, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at her home. She was born in Albemarle County, Virginia; daughter of the late Alex and Mary Lilliom Honto. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Benton Palmer. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She is survived by her three sons, Billy Palmer and wife, Sandy of Abingdon, Virginia, Stevie Palmer of Dante, Virginia, and Bobby Palmer and wife, Debbie of Castlewood, Virginia; four daughters, Lisa Booker and husband Clarence of Dante, Virginia, Rene Porter and husband, Richard of Coeburn, Virginia, Rhonda Grizzel and husband, Michael of Castlewood, Virginia and Rita Stewart and husband, Robert of Atlanta, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Sharon Booker, Travis Booker, Chad Fields, Andrea Stewart, Summer Meade, Shaun Meade and David Grizzel; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Honto and Stevie Honto of Detroit, Michigan; and a very special and loving dog, Daisy Funeral Services for Margaret Lee Palmer will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Dwaine Rasnick officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be family. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
