PAMELA BRADLEY HAMPTON OWENS ELKHORN CITY, KENTUCKY – Pamela Bradley Hampton Owens, 59, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Whitesburg ARH Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She was born on June 12, 1962, in Lebanon, Virginia, daughter of the late Floyd Aston and Dorothy Mae Helbert Bradley Phillips. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carlos Hampton; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Lena Bradley; maternal grandparents, William Russell and Dorothy Wilhelmina Helbert. Pamela was a member of First Baptist Church in St. Paul, Virginia. She worked as a cook and waitress for over 20 years at Ma and Pa’s restaurant for John Huff. Pamela loved to sew and quilt. She is survived by her husband, Rudy K. Owens; two daughters, Heather Hampton Smith and husband, Chad of Coeburn, Virginia and Ashley Thacker and husband, Thomas of Marbone, Kentucky; one grandson, Conner Thacker; three sisters, Lena Dean of Saint Johns, Florida, Joyce Ann Edwards and husband, Evans of Haysi, Virginia, Melissa Beth Knisley of Castlewood, Virginia; special friends, Tiffany Hodges and family, and David Wilman; nieces, Chantel Dean Charais, and husband, Nick, Debbie Haynes, Brianna Edwards, and Gabby Edwards; nephews, Brandon Gutshall, Steven Knisely, Aston Knisely, Wayne Haynes and wife, Sandy, Bobby Owens and wife, Amy, Johnny Haynes, and Brad Haynes and wife, Dee; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral Services for Pamela Bradley Hampton Owens will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Chapel of Love Mausoleum at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Pastor Jim Ed Belcher officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Chapel of Love Mausoleum at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.
