Roy M. Woodruff Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

ST. PAUL, VIRGINIA - Roy M. Woodruff Sr., 79, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, TN. He was a lifelong resident of Wise County, VA and was a son of the late William and Mildred Woodruff. In addition to his parents, he was also presented in death by his wife, Ina Beatrice Woodruff; two sons, Jeffrey Allen Woodruff and Michael Junior Woodruff; three daughters-in-law, Belinda Woodruff, Jenny Woodruff, and Sue Woodruff; two brothers, Roger Woodruff and Larry Woodruff; and one granddaughter, Angie Woodruff. He enjoyed working in landscaping and was a retired truck driver. He is survived by three sons, Ray Woodruff, Timothy Allen (Rebecca Johnson) Woodruff, and Roy McArthur (Sarah Lee) Woodruff, Jr.; two daughters, Nancy Ann Hale and Peggy Sue (Hugh) Salyers; seven sisters, Kathleen Dean, Georgia Poston, Wilma Riner, Phyllis Campbell, Frances Davenport, Missy Austin, and Barbara Wright; four brothers, Ricky Woodruff, Ronnie Woodruff, Darvile Woodruff, and Donald Woodruff; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, VA with Pastor Willie Elliott officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family requests memorial contributions may be sent to the family to help pay for funeral expenses.
