William David "Willie" Worley

CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – William David “Willie” Worley, 62, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Russell County Hospital in Lebanon, Virginia. He was born in Dante, Virginia; son of the late Dewey and Glenna Mae Wilson Worley. He was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Graham. Willie was a member of Dingus Memorial Freewill Baptist Church in Dante, Virginia. His activities that he enjoyed the most were watching Television and feeding and watching his Hummingbirds. He is survived by his two sisters, Mattie Martin and husband, John of Castlewood, Virginia and Linda Harosky and husband, Chuck of Bristol, Virginia; three brothers, Lawrence Worley and wife, Ann of St. Paul, Virginia, Harry “Jake” Worley of Castlewood, Virginia, and Dewey Worley, Jr. and wife, Joy of Abingdon, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for William David “Willie” Worley will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2021, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Jim Pratt officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Chris Harosky, Charles Harosky, Stacy Martin, Justin Worley, Marcus Deleon, and Casey Martin. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021, in Castlewood Funeral Home in Castlewood, Virginia. A radio broadcast of the service will be available on the Castlewood Funeral Home parking lot on radio station 88.9 FM during the service for those who would like to remain in their vehicle.
