  • Candlelight Remembrance Service
    Sunday, November 6, 2016

On Sunday, November 6, 2016 Castlewood Funeral Home in Castlewood, Virginia and the St. Paul Ministerial Association will be having a special Candlelight Remembrance Service. The service will start at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at the First Baptist Church in St. Paul, Virginia. The opening and welcoming will be done by the owners Eddie E. Gullett and Jess Johnson. The service will include prayer, message, and music and then there will be a non-denominational candle lighting ceremony. Often we have an especially hard time during the holidays while everyone around us is celebrating; our goal of the remembrance service is to help people overcome the weight of grief and stress that can sometimes affect the emotional well-being of a person following the death of someone close to them. The candle lighting service is not a time to forget, but a time to heal. We understand and sympathize with your loss and urge family members to attend. While no reservations are required, you are encouraged to call (276) 762-0764 and let us know you will be attending. Read more
